WESTERN NEPAL

The very remote and unspoiled western Nepal offers a real adventure for trekkers. Transport and facilities are more limited than in other parts of Nepal but the natural beauty, vastness and tranquility is unsurpassed. The high valleys of Dolpo lies north of Dhaulagiri and have sweeping views towards the Tibetan plateau, Kanjiroba Himal and the five peaks of Dhaulagiri. Rara lake is Nepals largest lake, a place of incredible beauty and tranquility. Western Nepal is inhabited by mainly Hindus with but the Tibetan influence is significant after centuries of trading across the border.
