                  Namche Bazaar                         Ama Dablam                         Thengboche

An easy trek in the Sagarmatha National Park starting in Lukla (2800 m)  after an exciting and spectacular 45 min. flight from Kathmandu. After two days of trekking we reach Namche Bazaar (3440 m), the colorful Sherpa capital and the biggest of Nepal’s highland bazaars. We spend one day acclimatization and enjoying the spectacular mountain views around Namche Bazaar. After Namche we visit Khumbu’s most famous monastery in Tengboche (3867 m), idyllically set on alpine meadows below the beautiful Ama Dablam (6856 m) with Everest and Lhotse dominating the skyline to the north-east. From Thengboche move on to Kumjung above Namche. After Kumjung we visit Thame, the home village of Tenzing Norgay. From the Stupa above the village it is possible to get a view of Cho Oyu. We return to Lukla via Namche for another exciting flight back to Kathmandu.
