                    Kali Gandaki Gorge and Dhaulagiri

A low altitude trek along an ancient trade route into the high Himalayas.

This is the classic teahouse trek and we follow a main trade route to Mustang and other areas in the far north of Nepal. This is the same route as the last part of the Annapurna Circuit and gives you some beautiful views of the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri. The route passes the Kali Gandaki Gorge at 2200 m. With Annapurna I (8091 m) on one side and Dhaulagiri (8167 m) on the other, only 38 km apart, this is the deepest gorge in the world. The entire trek is below 3000 m and the hotel facilities are excellent. An ideal trek for those who want to see the high Himalayas while avoiding trekking at high altitudes.
