Annapurna Himal is situated in central Nepal about 200 km west of Kathmandu and is made up of a number of 6 and 7000 m peaks in addition to Annapurna I (8091 m). The entire Annapurna range is part of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (7600 km2). To the east of the park we find Manaslu (8156 m) and to the east Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and to the north west we have the forbidden kingdom of Mustang. The area attracts more than 50% of all trekkers that visit Nepal due to easy accessibility, beautiful scenery and the diverse and colorful people.

EcoExpeditions offer a wide range of treks in this area. Jomsom, Royal Trek, Ghorepani and Siklis  are short and easy treks suitable for most people. Annapurna Sanctuary is probably the best short trek in Nepal and takes you to the center of the Annapurna massif. Annapurna Circuit is a very culturally interesting trek with one high pass while the  Dhaulagiri trek is a very challenging trek with two high passes.
