Citta Hospital in Simikot - Western Nepal
Construction of a hospital and shelter for families of hospital patients.
In the Simikot region there are no roads and very few medical facilities. We have supported the construction of an accommodation block for families. In addition we are supporting the development and operation of the Citta Hospital.
Dr. Yeshe Lodoe Lama
Dr. Yeshe Lodoe Lama is the founder of Citta Nepal and he comes from a poor family of the Humla region. He graduated from the Institute of Medical Science Banaras Hindu University in 1999. He has dedicated his life to help the poor people of the Humla region and with the help of friends he has constructed the Citta Hospital in Simikot. The hospital started operation in June 2003.
