Kyrgyzstan might be the most welcoming place to visit in Central Asia with its colourful nomadic culture and laid-back hospitality. For trekkers and mountaineers the attractions are the central Tian Shan and Pamir Alay ranges, Central Asia's finest mountains. Other interesting places to visit are Lake Issyk Kul, Osh, Fergana Valley and the capital Bishkek with the beautiful Ala Archa mountains only 40 km away.
